Cash from Casino

If you go to the casino cage and request cash charged to your shipboard account no matter if it is to gamble with or other things, YES, you will be charged an added 3%

Hi, Toto. You didn't mention that you can send casino credits to yourself in $100 increments for no service charge. You will be given vouchers ($100 each) upon boarding. Just take them to the casino cashier and cash them in for cash. We did that on our Mediterranean cruise last fall when we knew we needed lots of cash. You send them using the form from the 'gifts' section on the Pricsess.com site (but you know that, I'm sure).

I also got money using the player bank on the slots. Stuck my card in, followed the instructions, added a couple hundred to my player bank, went to the cage and cashed out my player bank. No service fee (unless you count the $10 I lost in the slot while I was sitting there a service fee LOL)

And, if you put it on your Princess Barclay credit card, you get double points, too....:D

The insert our GoldPointsPlus credit card, that gives us 4 points per $1 spent for VISA cards to use on cruises or anything else. Tell it we want $100 & we get it for free? Can use it more than once? We do not carry cash to be stolen, as credit cards can be closed & reissued on the ship.

So we get cash from the casino on the ships. But I remember reading that Princess/actually all of Carnival Corp charges.

The only thing the slots will accept is your cruise card, not any type of credit card. All of the slots are set up to accept your cruise card and the amount is billed to your shipboard account with no fees attached, (as a purchase, not a cash advance), which you have started a slot bank on. Instructions are on every machine, so it is a very simple process. It is not limited to a one time use, but there is a limit per day you can charge to your shipboard account in the casino. If memory serves me correctly, it is $1500, and there is also a total limit per cruise.

But you will NOT use your credit card for this.

and it is charged to our room. Play a few games & cash out & pocket it?

How fast & how efficient everyone was with my money for tips question. I truly appreciate it as a returning Platinum member of Princess with 11 cruises. Things change so asking makes it great to be back on the shi[p with everyone. 4/24 Crown is my return ship. My 60th BD is the 25th.
