Out of NY on the Miracle

Unless you have a friend to drop you off, we find it's easy to park right at the pier, but it's $30 a day.

They have just completed reconfiguring the traffic through there, which sounds like the traffic pattern will be a LOT easier to navigate.

We usually aim to get there between 10:30 and 11 to beat the crowds.

Bring your patience. Within an hour, you'll be up on the Lido starting your journey, preferably with a foo foo.

Be up top for sailaway. Lots to see, and people to meet.

This will be our first time leaving from the NY port, any suggestions on parking or other tid-bits? Thanks for your help.

We have a roll call started on the Carnival roll call board. You should check in over there. We will be on the ship with you. Myself, DH, DD13, and DS15. How many are in your group?

The parking at the port is $30 a day. You can find more info on the East coast departure boards. We are either parking at the garage or getting a car service to drive us in. We are not sure yet.

I hear it is great going out of NY. The sights are amazing. This will be our first time out of NY, also.

Feel free to ask any ?'s here. CC people are very helpful. Just don't be discouraged if some get a little cranky if you don't search as much as they would like. You will get a lot of great information here.

See you on the ship! And welcome to Cruise Critic!:)
