Crown Princess - BF vs BB cabin?

We will be sailing on the April 3 Crown Princess sailing with two cabins - we've got prices on a pair of BB cabins - literally at opposite ends of the ship on the Caribe deck - or a pair of BF cabins on the Baja deck. There appear to be only four BF cabins on the ship - they would certainly be closer together.

What is the difference between the BF and BB cabins? I think the BB has a larger veranda. The total cost for two BF cabins is only $70 less than the two BB cabins.

What would you do?

thanks,

Peter

Yes the BB's have the large balcony on Caribe deck.

Anything odd about the BFs like reduced privacy? Can't figure out why the grade drops for the final four cabins on the Baja deck on each side so quickly.

Depending on the ship I think some may not have converting beds, better check it out as I don't know if this is correct.

If you are a past Princess cruiser, you might be eligible for a promo fare. These promo fares price out all balcony categories the same which might make your choice a bit easier. I am a past Princess cruiser and am from New York and this cruise prices out the same for each balcony category on the Princess web site.

I'm getting excited! We normally book insides on the Lido deck, but we received a fabulous promotion for balconies on our next cruise. So, we booked a BF guarantee and was upgraded to a BB on the Caribe deck. I am totally elated!! Now, I wonder if there is a possibility that Princess would move us again? Only further upgrade would be either to a BA balcony or a mini-suite. But, by the sounds of it, a BB on the Caribe sounds better.
