Past TP cruisers Bora Bora Tender ?

Do the tenders returning to and from the ship run at continuous intervals up to a specific time (i.e. 11 pm) on the evening it is in Bora Bora? We have planned a sunset sail that will run right through our early dinner seating so we were hoping to get some dinner at Bloody Mary's but we wanted to make sure we wouldn't be rushed to catch a tender at 8 pm because there isn't another one till 11 pm. Would it be better to tender back to the ship at 7ish when our sunset sail ends and then head back to the island for a late dinner at 9 ish?

Thanks,

Hilary

the last tender on our cruise was at 7:45. not another until 11. our sunset cruise- we did a private one on Taravana, HIGHLY recommended if you can get a group of 10 together- got back just in time to catch that last tender. the Princess one gets you back quite a bit sooner.

We also did the Taravan with Richard Post. AWESOME!! He will drop you off at Bloody Marys if you want. I agree. We were rushed to get to the tendor by 8pm, but was too tired to wait until 11pm. We ate fast and were the last ones on the tendor. It might be more enjoyable for you to get the one at 9 going back to BB and then catch the 11 pm to the ship.

enjoy

Thanks for the info.

Cruisernurse - are you sure there was a 9 pm tender heading back to Bora Bora? If so that at least gives us another option.

Is there anything else to do in that area at night if we got stuck waiting for the 11 pm tender?

Hi Hilary,

I was on the tender with Nancy and as she said the last regular scheduled tender was 8:00 pm. The last tender is at 11:00 pm. In Bora Bora nothing is open at night except hotels and places to eat. If you miss the 8:00 pm tender then yes, you will be sitting in the dark at the pier until 11:00 pm.

The ship's tender is the only way to get back to the ship. If you miss the 8:00 pm tender then stay in the bar/resturant until it is closer to 11:00 pm. If you miss the 11:00 pm tender then book an overwater bunglow at the nearest hotel for $1000.00 a nite!
