Stateroom Decorations

Has anyone ever had the stateroom decorations done. I am thinking of doing the Anniversary ones for my hubby as a surprise. This is his first cruise and it is for our 2nd Anniversary.

If you have had it done, is it worth it and do you have pictures you would like to share?

THanks in advance

Thanks so much for your quick reply. From what it looks in those pics, it would be a fun little surprise. Thanks again

You're welcome!

Check this thread through out the day... I'm sure there'll be many more pictures added...

I got the anniversary decorations as a little surprise for DH for our anniversary, too. They may sound cheesy, but they looked really good, and it was a nice liitle surprise & livened up the room a bit (the cruise was the biggest surprise for him ). Sorry, don't have time to try & find any pics. I say go for it!

I did this for my DBF and he loved it! It was such a nice surprise for him since we were celebrating his birthday!

Ive also read on here how people have brought their own decorations and surprised loved ones that way! Usually people traveling with a few others so they can sneak off to the cabin ahead of your loved one and decorate it on your own!

On my birthday cruise, several years ago, somebody decorated our room, casino, ???? We still don't know who was responsible, but it was fantastic. It's really fun, everytime you open your stateroom door, wow, you're having a party, all week long. I would do it in a heartbeat.

The decorations do look great, but IMO they are not worth the extra money. You could go to the dollar store and purchase your own decorations for 1/3 of the price and hang them up when he is in the shower or sneak back to the room yourself.

I did them for an anniversary cruise and it was FANTASTIC!! I got the decorations, the anniversary gift that comes with glasses, wine, towel and much more.

It blew my DW away to walk in and see stuff everywhere and the decorations hanging from the roof. I think I spent $130 or so and to me it was worth EVERY penny.

We still hang them in our bedroom at home the week of our anniversary.. Kinda lame but we like it :D

We are back on board 4/24 instead of 4/9 our anniversary and I am going to do the room again now that I saw this post and remembered how much she liked it.

Enjoy your cruise.

We did it for neighbor girl for college graduation about 7 years ago. She & the girls in that room LOVED them!! They took pics to show us & left them up the whole cruise! She was so surprised & happy that when she thanked us, she looked like she wwas ready to cry!

I suprised hubby with the CCL anniversary decorations for our first cruise in Jan 2010. It was well worth it to see his face as we walked into the cabin the very first time, & it was already decorated.

The 2 keychains are very nice also. Not cheap plastic ones.

I've done the decorations twice. They look really nice also. I've also ordered the bday cake as well. I request the room to be decorated and the cake to be in the room for embarkation so when we walk into the room we can have a surprise party first thing! It makes for a great start to vacation.

Thanks so much for everyones responses. I guess I am DEFINATELY going to do it after all the wonderful reviews on it. I have tried to buy it and for some reason it is not letting me so maybe I will call them and do it instead of doing it online.

Thanks again a ton.
