Post Cruise in Miami-before flight

IF your cruise line has what is called Luggage Valet I suggest you use it...usually $20 a person but that means you get rid of your luggage....you will claim it after you debark...then customs...then hand it to the airline people...you will see it on your carousel at your home airport.

Then you can do whatever you like:

some go to Bayside and spend the day

some go to South Beach and spend the day

some get a rental car and go to the Everglades...

I am sure you will get some suggestions. Or take a ships tour and your luggage will be with you usually on the bus.

Why not taking a tour offered by the ship? After the tour they will bring you to the airport. They offer different tours in Miami. We did that in from Port Canaveral and will do so again after our next cruise in Miami. Your luggage will stay in the bus while you are on tour.
