Toulon Train Station

Can anyone tell me the best way to get from the port to the main train station in Toulon? Is it better to walk or are there cabs waiting?

I have never been to Toulon, but it is a stop on my cruise this summer so I have been doing some research.

 

Based on looking at Google Maps, the train station appears to be a 20 minute walk from the cruise terminal. It is almost directly across from the Mont Faron cable car station.
