I am looking at availble rooms for a cruise next year. I want a balcony on Port side....so we can people watch and stuff from our balcony. When looking at the layout is it the right or left side.

These are the room showing...226, 233, 234, 241, 238, 245, 246, 253

Which of these are port side....sorry for the dumb question, i have never cruised.

Keep in mind - just because the room is on the port-side of the ship does NOT mean that the port-side of the ship will be facing the dock.

Also, when you are booking online you can see the layout map. There's a link to "see layout" or something to that effect right by the cabin selection tool.

The even number cabins are on the port side, the odd cabin on the starboard side.

Regarding port and starboard, facing toward the bow, front of the ship, the left side is port (both port and left... 4 letters) and the right side of the ship is starboard. Because a cabin is on the 'port' side doesn't mean is faces the port.

:)
