Port of Tampa Web Cam

I have been checking out this link in order to view the Port of Tampa and any cruise ships that might be in port:

I have yet to actually see a cruise ship, or even anyplace that would fit one. What am I missing?

When you get control of the camera make sure you go to channelside. You can see the Inspiration in port on Thursday morning and afternoon.

After you "Take Control", choose "Channelside" from the "Preset Position" pull down menu. That is where the Inspiration and Legend dock. If there is a ship in port, you will see it there.

 

From that position, you can also go about 12 or so clicks to the left, and that is where HAL sails from, possible also Royal Caribbean.

 

Thursdays and Sundays (some Saturdays) are best for cruise ship viewing, as I recall.

Thanks for the quick response! I think I 'get' it now. I had heard you should select a preset, but I never saw that pull down menu. An IT guy who can't run an IP camera! Sheesh.

This link will take you to a daily schedule. Inspiration is on a 5-5-4 day rotation. It should be back in port on Thursday to start the 4-day cruise.

I wonder where this camera is located...
