dan40 Posted March 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2010 would someone here know if there is shopping near where the boat docks in grand cayman? Grand Cayman is a tender port, no docking there. Plenty of shops close by the tender area. Prices ARE HIGH in the Caymans.
Snowball Posted March 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 30, 2010 I agree with Dan - prices are high in Grand Cayman. Also, a lot of the stores list their merchandise in Cayman dollars, and when they ring it up in US dollars the prices are even higher.
Time2CruiseAgain Posted March 30, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 30, 2010 Yep - there is shopping in Grand Cayman! Especially love getting Rum Cake there, and liquor. There is a lot of jewelry shopping also - can't be bored in GC!! Love it there! Margaritaville right there at the port - fun time! Great excursions there - we love swimming with the stingrays and going to Hell and the turtle farm!
hutt90 Posted March 30, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 30, 2010 There is some shopping, lots of fun bars, and a great snorkle spot just to the left of where you get dropped. A little bar with steps that lead down into water to snorkle in. Look up and you will see your ship. Its amazing:D
