Grand Cayman is a tender port, no docking there. Plenty of shops close by the tender area. Prices ARE HIGH in the Caymans.

I agree with Dan - prices are high in Grand Cayman. Also, a lot of the stores list their merchandise in Cayman dollars, and when they ring it up in US dollars the prices are even higher. :eek:

Yep - there is shopping in Grand Cayman! Especially love getting Rum Cake there, and liquor. There is a lot of jewelry shopping also - can't be bored in GC!! Love it there!

 

Margaritaville right there at the port - fun time!

 

Great excursions there - we love swimming with the stingrays and going to Hell and the turtle farm!

There is some shopping, lots of fun bars, and a great snorkle spot just to the left of where you get dropped. A little bar with steps that lead down into water to snorkle in. Look up and you will see your ship. Its amazing:D

GC is NOT a shopping island, but Sting Ray City is the best excursion in the Caribbean!
