soupercb Posted January 26, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2005 I have a question for anyone who has stayed in a cabin on the lido deck of a conquest class ship...Are you able to walk directly down a hall or something to exit to the pools/buffet etc? Did you find it noisy on that level? Thanks for the help! cindy
chieft26 Posted January 26, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2005 Those cabins are great. I've stayed on the Lido Deck twice, both times on the Conquest. They're away from the mainstream, but close enough to everything. I love the convenience of the location.
soupercb Posted January 26, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted January 26, 2005 Great..thanks!!! So, you can just walk out from your room/hall to the pool area?
chieft26 Posted January 26, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2005 You bet. Our cabins have always been forward of the elevators/atrium area. But all you do is go around that and come straight out on the deck.
RWolver672 Posted January 27, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2005 We stayed on the Panorama deck and you come out basically the same way as the Lido Deck, just a level higher up and further forward. Here's a view of what it looked like as we came out from our hallway onto the upper level of the Lido Deck. http://community.webshots.com/photo/64207829/64208695FzoVOm Coming out onto the Lido deck you will go to the end of the hall and turn toward the center of the ship. There is a set of double glass doors that open automatically when you get close to them. This will take you out to where the action is. The sun tiers will be on either side of you and the stage directly in front of you. The pool is on the other side of the stage. We did not find this deck to be noisy at all. Remember that the cabin areas are shorter than other decks so you don't get as much foot traffic.
soupercb Posted January 27, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted January 27, 2005 Thanks so much for your help...we are booked on this deck thinking it sounded great but wanted some feedback from those who had already stayed there! I think we'll stay put!
Boston6 Posted January 27, 2005 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2005 Lido deck cabins rock. You'll love being on Deck 9.
jiggs Posted January 27, 2005 #8 Share Posted January 27, 2005 and your on one of the two 'non cabin only' decks that goes all the way through so you can actually walk outside to get to the back of the ship...its a really nice walk back to your room espically at night... Rescue156 Posted January 27, 2005 #9 Share Posted January 27, 2005 We stayed in a Lido Deck cabin on the Triumph and LOVED it. Best cabin location on any cruise I've been on.
