Your Opinions on Best Western St.Christopher in NOLA?

Just booked that hotel for a 2 days stay prior to our Triumph New Years cruise 2010.

I've not stayed at the St.Christopher but have been by it= looks fine as most are. I have spent Dec 25th in NOLA, not a big selection of resturants open however there will be a few in the French Quarter, suggest taking a walk on the levees on the 25th as well as the French Quarter as it will be the quitest day trhen return on the 26th if you find someplace interesting. Also suggest riding the free ferry just down Canal St from your hotel. It's a great city to just walk and explore.
