Is there smoking permitted in sanctuary ?

We've done the Sanctuary on the Emerald, Ruby and just got off the Golden. Smoking was prohibitted in all three.

It wouldn't be much of a sanctuary if it did! :) (At least for those of us who are non-smokers.)

No smoking in the Sanctuary. It's allowed only in designated areas regardless of the side of the ship.

Where is smoking allowed? Specifically the CB?

On all ships, in your cabin or balcony. On most open decks on the port side only. In the casino except on certain no smoking days.

 

We don't smoke and prefer others didn't, however, it is your life and your choice.

It's hard to stay away from smoke when you're walking down the hall to your cabin or anywhere near the casino:(

Chantix! worked for me after several attempts to lose the ball and chain. Smoke free for 2 1/2 years now! Good luck!

I have never had the chance to sail on a ship that had Sanctuary but I am making it an item to select our next cruise and I totally hope it is non smoking !

I'm really niot sure but don't they allow smoking next to the Lotus pool near the Sanctuary?

We stopped 22 years ago and have not looked back since. Once in a very great while it sounds good, but once you get one whiff of smoke you are so repelled by it. I think ex-smokers are more sensitive to the smell, we weren't for a couple years, but we weren't really around it that much. All of our friends and family quit years before us and we were tired of being the outcasts.
