ladybug97 Posted April 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2010 Wondering what most do on the day of disembarkation for transportation if you are doing a post cruise stay? I have read that there are cabs available but are there enough to go around?? Do I need to reserve a cab or just go on a whim? We are staying at the Marriott Waterfront so there isn't a shuttle available
Dan G Posted April 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2010 tons of cabs so not to worry. Its a short ride. You could also ask the Marriott to recommend a towncar for you but since its such a short distance I'd just take a cab.
Sailorgirlseattle Posted April 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2010 There will be a whole line of cabs waiting for fares when you disembark. Not a problem at all, and definitely the way to go from Pier 91 to a downtown hotel.

ktt942 Posted April 14, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 14, 2010 What's the least expensive mode of transportation for two from Pier 91 to the airport after the cruise? Would a cab be cheaper or should I consider booking a reserved trip with someone?
Dan G Posted April 14, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 14, 2010 towncars are a flat rate vs a metered cab. Fare on cab should be around $50. Towncars can be $45-60. If your in town before you leave ask your hotel concierge to recommend a car and arrange before you get on the ship.
