nameuser13 Posted January 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2005 What visa service companies have people used to get a visa to China? The one company that came with my Viking forms is GENERATION, and it is $200 to get 2 visas. I found a link on this CC webpage to get a Chinese visa for only $19.95 per person. But the incredibly huge price difference makes me wary. It might be because I bet the price of the visa itself is not included, but I'm not sure. Since i have to send our passports to these folks, I want to make sure I am dealing with an reputable company. But I don't want to be gouged, either. Any words of advice? MCCruiser Posted January 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2005 The Chinese Consulate charges $50/visa. Any additional charges include service and postage. The $19.95 must be in addition to the $50/person.

Sumar76 Posted March 14, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2005 If you are on a cruise with Princess, do you need to get a visa for China, on your own? Also what if you arrive in Japan 2 days early and are not with Princess at that time? Any one know?? Thanks, Sue
Dortmunder Posted March 14, 2005 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2005 Yes, you need to get you chinese visa yourself. It is not a big thing, just send in your passport and your visa application and you'll get your visa within a couple of days.
e095521 Posted May 7, 2005 #7 Share Posted May 7, 2005 We use CIBT out of San Francisco for all our corporate visa needs and some have used them for personal. They do all the paperwork and we've never had a problem. You can go to their website and send an email and they'll, almost immediately, send you back an email with all the info/document files you need for the country you're visiting. Great service.
