Help us plan what to do in Cozumel

We will be in Cozumel for a long day (from 8 a.m to 10 p.m. I think) and are trying to figure out what we want to do. It'll be me and my hubby, and 2 kids (14 and 7). We are not normally just lie on the beach types, we like to go sightseeing.

Even though we don't like just lying on the beach all day, I think we want to try Nachi Cocum because it seems very quiet and relaxing. Do you think the kids will be bored? I thought of Paradise Beach, but my kids don't swim and don't really want to deal with them wanting to get on those water toys there. Any other good beaches that are cheaper than Nachi but don't have all the water toys like Paradise?

What should we do after the beach? Is there anything good to do in late afternoon to early evening? If we go to Nachi, I don't think we'll want to go anywhere else to eat or drink. Maybe shopping? What time do the shops close? I'd like to hit a drugstore to see if I can get some Retin-A for my son. Where is the closest drug store to the pier?
