Progresso best beach locations?

Taking large group to Progresso in early August aboard Carnival Elation. Planning to mainly just play on beach while at Progresso, looking for suggestions for best location. Looking for lounge chairs, restaurant, massages close by. Have not been to Progresso before - have been to Coata Maya couple times, always went to Cats Meow - looking for similar place in Progresso - any suggestions.

LOL can tell you haven't been there before. Take the free shuttle in, walk about a block there is the beach! We usually sit in the area that's "belongs" to Buddy's. It's a local resturant owned by an American, food is good and plentiful, drinks are cold and best of all it's pretty reasonable when it comes to the cost. Don't worry you can see the entire beach, go for a walk, get a massage , just about everything from right there and it's a public beach for FREE. You do have to deal with pan handlers but they take "no" rather nicely as most folks say it. HAVE FUN!
