Dry cleaning onboard

Hi

 

Husbands suit needs drycleaning, I do not see the point to put it is suitcase and be there for 2 days as we are traveling out before cruise. How long does drycleaning take onboard and can we leave it to be done first day?

 

We leave thursday and have not a sea day until saturday so take it that will be first formal night does this sound right ?

I always unpack the first night and leave my stuff out on the bed for pick up by the steward. It will be back in the afternoon of the second day.
