SeaBlu Posted April 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2010 Does anyone know what radio frequencies are used onboard the Solstice?
monorailmedic Posted April 25, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2010 I haven't been on the Solstice yet, but in my experience, most ships now have either UHF (450-460MHz) or 900MHz equipment for shipboard comm. Most often UHF. Check the old itinerant frequencies. A part of me remembers reading about licensing of certain UHF pairs for shipboard comm but it's been many years since GROL studying. floridatravelersforlife Posted April 25, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2010 Onboard the Celebrity ships now use an integrated cellular network for comm's. The only ship to shore is when they are casting off and communicating with the stevedores. As far as ship to ship marine frequencies, these are regulated and you can google what they are.
