simmynj Posted April 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2010 I am a single parent travelling with my two kids age 14 and 16 in July. I already applied and awaiting passports. Will I need any other papers for the minors to board the ship to Canada? Father disappeared more than 6 years ago and do not know where he is. Already advised this when we applied for passport. Is the passport only documents I will need?
pjtulsa Posted April 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2010 Passports are all you should need. I have taken several of my son's friends on cruises with us and although I had a notorized "Permit to Travel" form signed by their parents I was never asked for it... Hope you enjoy your cruise and make some great memories with your kids:)
cccer Posted April 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2010 We have always brought a letter from my stepsons dad, but have never been asked for it. I hear other cruise lines are more strict, but not Carnival.
