Any places on the beach in Majauhal to avoid

The only thing you have to worry about is a few salespeople pushing their wares. They are not very pushy at all actually. They will come up and ask you to buy something but will keep moving if you say no thanks. Walking the boardwalk is the same thing. A few restaurant owners trying to get you to eat at their place and every one of them says the same thing "best food in Mahahual". I would not go wandering all over the back streets of the town but it is safe and no worries.

found it enjoyable just walking and then you will be approached for some cheap beer, trinkets and massages...hubby got both massage and cheap beers...was just a FUN day...we didnt want to encounter the vendors sailing their wares--as i already purchased some jewelry on the walk so on the way back to catch a taxi we just walked the beach:)
