South China Seas

Almost any body of water can have conditions ranging from very smooth to very rough.

We've sailed in the South China Seas a couple of times.

November 86, on the little Golden Odyssey (a 10,000 tonner) it was extremely rough trying to outrun the back end of a typhoon. We had green water over the bridge, screws out of the water, and the inclinomter was pegged several times.

March 01, same general area on Regal Princess, very smooth.

There are no guarantees upon the water.
