NCL Pearl Kids Club questions

I have seen the kids club schedule and had a couple of quick questions:

It seems like there will be one or two kids shows in the theater. Are we able to go to the show as a family or is it strictly kids only?

During the time that there are scheduled activities, are there alternative activities available? For example, if the activity is "Secret Agent", then if they aren't into it, are they able to go play with toys or draw pictures or play at the playground? Not saying they would be terribly picky, just curious.

During the Freestyle Free play (that's at the little playground, right?) - this is supervised by the cruise crew or do the parents stay for that?

Thanks!!

WE sailed the Pearl last year with our 6y.o. and 3 y.o.

When the kids are scheduled for a show in the theater, they meet in the Kids Club and the counselors take the kids down as a group. We didn't see any parents with the group. You can always ask the counselors when you sign the kids up for the Kids Club at the beginning of the cruise.

Our son didn't always want to participate in the group activities, and they let him play with what interested him. Their only main concern was that he wasn't enjoying his time there and when we told them that sometimes he wants to play on his own, they were flexible with that. The counselors did a great job letting our son enjoy his time there and didn't push him to participate in the group activity if he wasn't interested.

It's a fun Kids Club and your kids will likely enjoy it :)
