I heard $4.oo per person but then someone just told e they heard 40 per person. which is correct?

thanks

Vans charge $4 or $5 pp. from the dock to Atlantis or anywhere on Paradise island. Plus a $1 toll for the vehicle. (per vehicle, not per person)

As there are 6 of us travelling...( 12 actual rides), we'd prefer to catch the $4.00 per person ride. What do we look for???? Taxi??? Shuttle van???

Thanks so much!!!

Just ask for a cab... most are Vans. There are very few smaller vehicles these days. With 6 you will surely be put in a van.

Cabbies are queued up outside the port gates.

Don't worry - you won't have any trouble finding transportation. As soon as you get into Festival Place, there are people asking if you want a cab to Atlantis. As soon as they get a decent size group together, they will walk you to your van and you're off.

When we were there earlier this month, the cab fare was $4 a person (plus tip). I got a dollar out to pay the bridge toll but the cab driver paid it himself.

You can also take the water taxi to Paradise Island for $3 a person. It's a bit of an "adventure" but the scenery is nice on the way over. It takes longer to take the water taxi since they only leave every half hour. So if you're in a hurry, take a regular cab. If you like to try something different, take the water taxi. Don't bother paying for a round-trip ticket. You can buy tickets back on the other side or take the regular taxi back.

DH and I just got home a few hours ago from Carnival Sensation. Tuesday night we went to Atlantis. It was $4/pp each way. Just keep in mind-you'll be waiting at the pier for a little while until the taxi is filled with others who want to go to Atlantis. We waited about 15 minutes for the taxi to leave. But once it did, it was only about a 10 minute ride.
