Explorer of the Seas -- Balcony ?

Considering a D-2 catagory balcony for October 2010 cruise. Any information on this balcony for deck 7 or 8 will be appreciated. i.e forward, mid or aft. We have been in a E-1 balcony in the past. Thanks in advance.

We were in a D2 on deck 8 and also deck 9. Our cabin were just a little aft of the rear elevator lobby. For us, a great location because its near computer area, library, and just above dining rooms. Hope this helps and hope you enjoy your cruise.

Also D2 last fall on the 8th deck. Great location near the library and internet center. We were mid ship, great access to elevators and stairs.

My personal favorite is deck 7 as close to the aft elevators as possible. I think the hump cabins are E's and I would take a hump over a D, but that's just me. Deck 7 is a little cheaper and the library area is wonderful. I've been on deck 6 and didn't like it - no glass on the balcony and the "business center" was often clogged with people.

Have to agree grab any of the D2's just aft of the centrum elevators on deck 7 or 8. Great views and being "midship" there is less motion in the ocean if the seas start to dance.

We were in a D2, mid ship deck 7 just before the hump. We really enjoyed the location.

Is there really that big a difference between E and D?

 

I know it's a few sq ft .... is it really noticeable?
