Pudgesmom Posted January 30, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2005 Hello Hello Has anyone got any information about Costa Rica? Beth
gracecarmo Posted January 30, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2005 Beth: if you are on a cruise, your time may be limited. Someone posted that there is a red tent near the port that has all sorts of tours available. Also, I went to the Costa Rica web site. Lots of info there too. texkan Posted January 30, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2005 http://www.limonport.com/index.htm I have been talking to Oscar Brown about a tour of the canals. I can not get a yes or no on the tour or more details. They want me to find more passengers for the tour. I am also looking at this site.
texkan Posted January 30, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2005 Greetings from Costa Rica We specialize in private tours; it would be a pleasure for me to be your tour operator here in Costa Rica. The Tortuguero Canals Excursion includes: transportation to a smaller port named Moin on a private 14 passenger van; there your group will start a marvelous journey on a 12 passenger private boat all around the endless Tortuguero Canals. This small quiet boat will help you see more animals on the way like Howler Monkeys, Sloths, Caimans and many of the 450 bird species in the area like the beautiful Ara Macaw. On the way back to the ship you will have time for a Costal Highlight Tour and a City Tour. The Tortuguero Canals Excursion takes 4 to 5 hours. The whole time you will have an English speaking Natural Tour Guide with your group. Groups of 10 or more 10% discount. It would be a pleasure to keep helping you, please don't hesitate to contact me for more information. info@limonport.com Daniel Campos G. Pudgesmom Posted January 30, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted January 30, 2005 Thank you so much for your replies. :) We are not visiting Limon on our cruise, its only the starting point. I guess I'm just frustrated with the lack of information on anything other than Limon. It must be the most popular of the ports. Beth
