Suites and internet

Can anyone please tell me if the free internet access for suites is actually available in the suites or do you have to use the internet room. Thanks in advance.

I guess I should state that this question pertains to the Diamond.

Since no one is answering you on this one. I can tell you that when we toured the Royal Suite on the Star Princess at the end of our cruise, there was a laptop sitting on the desk hooked up to the Internet. But the Royal Suite was the only place I have ever seen one in any of the suites on Princess.

 

Suite passengers are entitled to free internet access at the internet cafe though.

My experience has been that in a Vista Suite, free Internet is in the cafe as they take off the charges at the end of the cruise from your account. Free Internet does not apply to Mini-Suites.

Last Oct. we were upgraded to a suite on the Sapphire, sister to Diamond and no there was no internet service in the suite but because we were platinum already and were in a suite we did get free internet in the cafe.

Thanks for the info. I'm quite surprised that for a newer ship, they wouldn't have data ports in their full suites. Holland America does.
