debster818 Posted May 3, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Rum Runners rule! Did not get caught. Put the in Ziploc and stored them near the wheels and around our toiletries. (caps mix together)
JGaleCPA Posted May 3, 2010 #8 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Got mine broken in for my cruise this sunday! Filled them last Thursday to make sure they didn't leak. Of course, not a drop. they hold a huge amount and are very sturdy. i saved the old bottles to refill what I don't use.
arush5268d Posted May 3, 2010 #9 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Do these Rum Runnings have a wide mouth bottle? I want to be able to put my iron in them to bring it aboard. I hate having to go use the public ones.
CanadaJulie Posted May 3, 2010 #10 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Just thought I'd mention that I used the Out2C (dot com) flasks and they were great. I wanted a larger one than Rum Runners sells and found it here (64 oz - put 4 bottles of wine in with plenty of room to spare). We bring wine to the cottage (which involves crossing the lake in an aluminum fishing boat) and rather than cart bottles, we fill up some large Out2C flasks so the big size was perfect. While I was ordering for the cottage, I got a few 'normal' sizes for my January cruise and was thrilled with them ! Then I re-ordered some for my friends and family who were jealous of mine for their cruise ! They are identical to the Rum runners brand as far as I can see but slightly less expensive (their price includes shipping). I have always had great service with them, quick shipping and good response. Just my 2Cents... The less I spend on booze, the more I have to cruise ! goldwinger88 Posted May 3, 2010 Author #12 Share Posted May 3, 2010 And they include filling them with Crown Royal and mailing contents to me to inspect for purity. Hmm, I got a bottle of Crown from Y2K. butnot opening it for awhile. So will have to make do with the small ones I am always picking up when having a rough week traveling, but one is definitely going to see Crown and perhaps some Baileys for coffee
