South Friars Bay and Frigate Bay

I would like to go to both of these beaches in one day.

 

Is that doable?

 

If I had to pick one which one do you think is better?

These beaches are only 5 minutes apart by car. South Friars is a much nicer beach, however Frigate Bay has more amenities. If I was going to do both beaches, I would opt to spend more time at South Friars.

Could you walk from Frigate Bay to South Friars Bay?

It can be done but a short taxi ride would be more enjoyable. It can be a long walk up Sir Timothy Hill to get to South Friars then the long walk back up the hill to get back to South Frigate Beach.

I just got back from St kitts/Friars on Sunday and we spent a good part of the day there. We got dropped off at 9:30 and we were the only ones there for a hr or so. There was only 2 bars open last week, Mongoose & Shipwreck. We'd walk back & forth between the 2.

 

The new bar/restaurant on the end of the beach looks pretty close to being finished but then again they said they have been working on it for 5 yrs now and aren't too speedy.
