Nacional Beach Club

Recommended Posts

Been reading posts for ideas for our stop in Mahahual. Noticed that Nacional Beach Club seems to offer good food, drink, & beach seating...yet it's not mentioned much here on the boards. Anyone know why? Is it new perhaps?

I think the restuarant is fairly new. They also have guest houses and a small pool, so they typically cater to longer staying folks, but day guest are probably most welcomed. It's in the block before Pez Quadro. Owned by a couple of ex Texans; he cooks a good burger and he and Fernando, of 100% Agave, have a friendly rivalry over who makes the best margaritas in Mahahual. I think they have a Facebook page. Some else on these boards reviewed them in February and liked they stay as I recall. Certainly worth checking out.
