How will what the Boston , Massachusetts Federal Reserve Bank just said effect Cruising now?

Eric Rosengren, the president of the Boston Federal Reserve Bank.

"My view is that with inflation expectations stable, core PCE [Personal Consumption Expenditures] inflation rates declining, and significant excess capacity in the economy, accommodative monetary policy remains appropriate," Rosengren said in a speech in New York.

Rosengren is the first Fed member to speak since the central bank decided last week to keep interest rates at historic near-zero levels and repeated that conditions are likely to justify holding rates at exceptionally low levels for an extended period. Rosengren is a voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee this year and voted in favor of the policy stance.

Over the past year, many financial market participants have thought that a rate hike was just over the horizon only to see the central bank hold rates steady.

Rosengren's speech gave no hint that he is interested in raising rates anytime soon.

What do youall think is going to happen?

Is a Rate Hike in Interests Rates going to be after the Elections in November 2010 coming?
