terryde Posted May 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2010 We are looking for a great beach and it seems Bananarama sounds good to us. Is it within walking distance of other things we might want to see or do? Is it best to book them with transportation? How much would taxi for 2 be there without prebooking? Next to Bananrama are other beach clubs. There is a path at the end of the beaches to your right, when facing the water, that leads to West End Village where you can find some shops and restaurants, nothing fancy. It's about a 30-40 minute walk. Try Celestes for belidas, yummy. What ship are you on? Where you dock will dictate the cost of a taxi. Mahogany Bay (Carnival, Princess, HAL ships) is further and more expensive than Coxen Hole. Contact Bananarama about arranging transportation or just go outside the pier area and negotiate with the drivers. Bananarama is a great spot and they do have a restaurant/bar there.
