jebba555 Posted May 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2010 Hello, Is there a big difference between the taxis that will be waiting at the pier in St. Thomas and the taxis that are by the KMart? Just wondering if the walk over to KMart is worth it, especially with 14 of us in our group. Looking for average price per person for a one-way ride. We will be on FOS, so I believe we will be docking at Havensight. Our plans are to go to Red Hook for a ferry over to St. John. Thanks in advance! :-)
Betsy's Mom Posted May 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2010 Taxi fares are set by by the Virgin Islands Government. All drivers are supposed to adhere to the set rates. If you walk to the Kmart you perhaps can catch a $2. ride on a safari bus to Red Hook. The taxi rate from town to Red Hook is $10 per person. Enjoy:) B.
