jghm59 Posted January 30, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2005 My family and I will be taking our first cruise next month with another family. My daughter will be staying in the cabin with the other family. Can I have her sign and sign account linked to mine even though we're not in the same room. Am I incorrect in thinking that purchases are assigned to S&S cards by room number or by credit card number? Her name is under the booking reservation of that other family. Thanks for your help. I've been reading these threads for a couple of weeks and have learned some valuable information.
GoinCruisin Posted January 31, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2005 Each person is assigned a folio number which is connected to their S&S card... so it won't matter. You will just put down the method of deposit (credit card or cash) and assign it to her folio...
Got docs? Posted January 31, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2005 After you board the ship, just go down to the pursers desk with your daughters S&S card and the form of payment you are using, ie credit card, etc. and they will change it in the computer right there for you. You can also put spending limits on it if necessary. Hope you have a wonderful cruise!!!

pazandak63 Posted January 31, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2005 Just got off Valor and this was a problem. We had teens and the acct was hooked to our Credit card. We did not let them have access due to worries of them loosing the card on board. Then...on evening they wanted to rent a movie in their room and could not due to no access. I tried to put $ down and Valor would not do that. All or nothing on the credit card. This was a problem and worried us to have kids running around with no limit. Maybe it is different on other ships...or if you use cash. Karyn
