I have read that on the train of the Princess land tour you are seated at a table with 2 people facing forward and 2 facing back. What is the seating on Celebrity? We are going on Celebrity Alaska cruisetour # 8. Can you get up and walk around? Thanks for any information.

It's been 3 years since I did the Celebrity cruise/land tour but the Celebrity train car was a double decker. We sat up top (all glassed in) in regular type seats - 2 by two facing forward. The dining room was on the first floor of the car and it had tables with 2 sitting forward and 2 sitting backward. The passenger seats up top are very plush, recline, with your own private bartender! It was a wonderful trip, you'll love it.

Happy Touring, Sue

The meals were excellent and prime rib outstanding. Better than on the ship. After the 1st meal we then split dinner due to the large portions. The couple sharing our table did the same. That was 2 years ago.
