sarafs Posted May 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2010 My family will be traveling on the Conquest at the end of the month and I would like to know where the Laundry rooms are to do your own laundry. We are trying to cut down on the amount of clothes we pack. We will be on deck 8. Thanks

okgirl Posted May 10, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 10, 2010 And btw, it's $3 to wash and $3 to dry. You can purchase powdered detergent ($2 I think) but the fabric softener is liquid and has to be added during the rinse cycle, so I just take a few bounce sheets. I can usually get 2 washers into 1 dryer.
sarafs Posted May 10, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted May 10, 2010 thanks -- I have purchased trial size tide liquid packs for $1 each already. Good to know you can fit two wash loads in one dryer!:D

My question is, do I need quarters, or do the laundry machines take the S&S, or what? I don't want to take a roll of quarters with me if I don't have to! triplee Posted May 10, 2010 #9 Share Posted May 10, 2010 Hi, As previous posters have stated, it will cost you $3 per load in washers and dryers. You can also obtain quarters from the Casino cashier. Detergent: Purex makes a 3 in 1 product that is very easy to pack. They are no larger than a dryer sheet and they contain the detergent, fabric softener and the dryer sheet all in one. Just remove it with your wash load when finished and place it in the dryer with your clothes. They do a decent job of cleaning your laundry.
