ljs7 Posted May 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2010 So if I were to put vodka in water bottles and put them in my carry on as the cruise line states that is where they must go would those bottles be examined?
elcuchio24 Posted May 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2010 At POM last week they were shaking water bottles to see how the bubbles looked, letting them if it was water of 'another clear liquid'.

Any bottles that you bring on board are supposed to be sealed. So if they are not, they may be taken from you.
Sol y Mar Posted May 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2010 We sailed on the Legend out of Tampa on April 18th. We packed our bottles of water, diet coke and sprite instead of carrying them on. We put our little lock on the suitcase. When it came to our room, it had obviously been unlocked and opened/inspected because there was a Carnival letter stating "prohibited items were suspected". Nothing was removed, as it was surely water and soda. Sol y Mar
