Solarium and spa

Recommended Posts

Could you experienced folks out there tell me whats in the solarium and the spa? I seem to remember reading that one is for over 16s and one for over 18s. I'm just trying to sort what facilities will be available for my 16yo daughter

The spa is where they do treatments such as massages, manicures, haricuts etc. You have to be 18 to book a treatment, but they do have a menu of available treatemnts for people 13-17. The solarium is an adult only indoor pool area that also has hottubs and lounge chairs. I think that 16 is the minimum age there, but not 100% sure. On some ships they do have a food venue in the solarium, and younger people are allowed to come in to get food.

IMO, a 16yo will be bored silly in the solarium; so even if it's 16 vs. 18, she won't likely be interested in hanging out there and will prefer the main pool area next door...

I doubt there are many people under 30 that choose to hang out there, mostly older than that...
