I know many of you have cruised around the Pacific so I need your help please. This is our first time visiting the following places,

Sydney,

New Zealand Fjordland National Park,

Port Chalmers, Dunedin

Akaroa, New Zealand

Aukland, New Zealand

Suva, Fiji

Pago Pago, American Samoa

Moorea, French Polynesia

Bora Bora, French polynesia

Honolulu, Hawaii

Maui (Lahaina) Hawaii

Los Angeles.

Do any of you have a copy of the Discover shopping, Port and Shopping Maps for any of these ports that you could email please? Or any relevant maps/info from other cruise lines

Also I assume other cruises finish in LA, so do Princess offer any excursions on the last day for disembarking passengers, finishing at the airport?

Do hope some of you can help, and with any other information re excursions to do, places to go, recommended private tour companies, good buys, etc would also be gratefully recieved

Thanks

Sandy and John in Spain

You might find some information on the Ports of Call boards here, and check to see if there is a roll call for your voyage. People there will be talking about shopping and excursions. You might also wander over to the P&O - Australia/NZ board and see what they have to say. EM

This is an incredible cruise which I took in 2008. Join your roll call because people will share a lot of information. Here's a link to a website put together by Lorraine Kennedy, who was on my cruise which has an absolute wealth of information about the ports, private tours (and descriptions), etc. I'm sure quite a few of you have sailed with Lorraine. She's incredible when it comes to information and organization. http://travel.webshots.com/album/551913055GuoHEU

FYI, the Pago Pago and Bora Bora private tours that we took were among the best I've ever taken anywhere. I highly recommend the tour that goes to Tisa's Bar (where we ran into the CD, ACD and their girlfriends, who joined our group) in Pago Pago and the motu picnic in Bora Bora with Patrick.
