HAL Bus Transportation from NYC to Conn

Recently a friend returned to NYC from Bermuda on the Veendam and complained that all of the people making the return trip to Connecticut and beyond (Rhode Island, Massachusetts) as part of their purchased HAL transportation package were made to wait in the terminal until their bus arrived. Boarding didn't take place until 1 p.m., hours after getting off the ship earlier that morning. She also complained that the bus odor was offensive, due to a bad situation in the toilet area. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
