from BCN to liceu metro stop?

I'm trying to figure out the metro system into barcelona from the airport. We are staying at a hotel very close to the liceu metro stop, but i am so confused because i've looked at a few different maps. would anyone be willing to help me with this? Thank you!

it appears that i would take the Renfe r10 line to Sants Estacio, switch to the Metro L3 and get off at Liceu. is this correct? will it be a problem switching from renfe to metro? We will probably buy a t10 pass, is this the best way to go? thanks!
