Crew on the Carnival Glory

Just booked with Carnival Glory for 1/30/11 and I was wondering what the cruise director and crew were like? Any details? It will be hard for anyone to follow John Heald since he was on the dream when we sailed her in Feb.

Can't say about the CD except there was a list/schedule posted earlier.

I believe most crew members serve 6-8 month contracts with a 2 month break, so I'm not sure any comments about the current crew would be necessarily relevant for a cruise booked for eight months from now. Not saying it wasn't a question worth answering, just that it seems to me that the answers would likely be largely irrelevant.

I agree to a point, that it's not relevant at this point, however it's my contention that the TRAINING of the staff and the management is what makes all the difference. Having said all that  we've not sailed "Glory" since it left Port Canaveral, but all of the MANY times we sailed her in the past we found the crew to be EXCELLENT! With any luck, it's still that way, and will remain that way for you.

Have a GREAT cruise!
