There IS decent snorkeling in Labadee!

We were on Labadee in September of 2012. I did see people with snorkle gear but don't know if they brought it along or rented it. I would suggest a call to RCCI customer service and ask the question or have your TA call and find out for you.

This was a great thread back in 2010----has anyone been there recently and snorkeled---we do not have a suite----would like to snorkel with our own equiment---maybe they do not have equipment anymore because snorkeling stinks??? Hope not!!

We were just there last week. We did not have a suite and brought our own equipment. The snorkeling off Adrenaline Beach was ok - nothing like GC or Cozumel, but not a total waste of time. If you are taking your own equipment, you may as well check it out. It is definitely worth taking your own equipment for Eden Rock in GC (free) and Chakanaab in Cozumel ($21 pp).

  • 2 weeks later...

Just returned from an Enchantment of the Seas visit to Labadee. Went on the ship sponsored "Safari Snorkel" -- 2 hours and cost, I think, $47pp. Enjoyed it very much. Did not see fish of the size and variety of Trunk Bay in the USVI but lots and lots of different shaped coral. Good info from guys who manned the ship. One of them was with us in a kayak so when DH lost his snorkel he got another one in two minutes. They did say they'd had some poor visibility recently so we lucked out to some extent.
