Any ideas for where to snorkel for a little while in the morning? Without going out on one of the snorkeling trips to the reef, you can walk to the beach at Fort Zachery Taylor. It's about 6 blocks down Whitehead off the docks, then right on IIRC Southard. $2.50 entrance fee. Pjk

We've booked the Fury out of Key West in the morning. $36 http://www.furycat.com/key-west/snorkeling.htm I've read great reviews about the Fury!:D
peter_krynicki Posted May 20, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Fury is convenient because it leaves right from the cruise ship docks. Their little video shows them snorkeling at Sand Key with the Sand Key Lighthouse in the background. This is one of my favorite places to snorkel at the reef in Key West. Those videos are very good since they give you a real idea of what a trip s like. Pjk

I wonder if there will be any problems with the oil spill.
