Just got our luggage tags

Someone posted a similar thread in the past week or so and I looked back but couldn't find it - something about their cabin being port and the luggage tags saying starboard - well, a similar thing just happened to us.

We have an aft balcony, and the luggage tag gives a little schematic of a ship, divided into 4 parts, and there is a "C" in the front port section - totally wrong from where our cabin is located. The cabin number is correct. I'm just wondering how these tags help the porters find the right cabins?
