Fort lauderdale restaurants..suggestions please

Staying at Hilton Beach resort the day before we set sail on Celebrity in July. Looking for a restaurant suggestion on or near this hotel. Looking for great atmosphere, well rounded menu and not a chain restaurant. Maybe even dining outside on the intercoastal waterway.

I think that the restaurant in the Hilton just has tapas. There is 954 Steak next door at the W and Shula's Steakhouse in the Westin, but those are not well-rounded menus. A few blocks north on A1A is Trina in the Atlantic Hotel. About 4 blocks south on A1A is Casablanca Cafe. About 4 blocks past that is H2O (I had the duck tacos for lunch today). The closest intracoastal restaurant is Coconuts, about a mile south. It's a bit set back from the intracoastal at a marina, but the views at sundown are nice. About 3 miles north on the intracoastal are Shooter's (mediocre but well-rounded), Charley's Crab (a nice upscale seafood chain), and Taverna Opa (Greek, loud). These are on the water taxi route.
