Blackjack on QM2

I have a couple of questions for Blackjack players aboard QM2, if you would be so kind:

 

1) Is the minimum still $5? (I saw one post that mentioned a $3 minimum a year ago January)

 

2) Is the Blackjack table single deck or a six-deck shoe?

The first night or two (if it is slow), there will be a couple of $3 tables.

It is an 8 deck shoe.

On our T/A last year they shut the blackjack tables down around midnight even though there were still a few players. I was surprised as we were gaining an hour each night and I thought they would want to use every chance to take your money.
