Why is the H2O zone water cold??

Recommended Posts

I only ask this because I have read several times that the water was cold. Is it the time of year? I really want to try out the LOS or FOS because of the H2O zone. My son would be so disappointed if the water was freezing.. and so would I. (I want to play too). SO why is it cold? Weather?

thanks

We were on Indy Jan into Feb and the H20 zone was FREEZING (although Indy pools were suppose to be heated -- the Captain said he wasn't turning on the heat in the Caribbean, it was for the Med only  )

The air temperature in Cozumel was 68 -- the air temp in Costa Maya was 65 -- you get the point. There was no adult that was willing to step foot in the H20 zone. But the kids were all over it.

If you aren't sailing in January/February -- you will be ok. Pick a hot month.

We were on Freedom at the end of April and the H20 zone was MUCH WARMER. So picking a warmer month is the key. :D
