Can someone tell me on 6 day cruise is there just one formal night.

Also would love to know more about the Spa from those of you that have visited the Spa and had treatments on the Carnival Freedom. I've looked on the website, but sometimes on other cruises have found some of the services that was listed was not offered on the ship, but others service that were offered that was not listed on the website.

Any info will be very helpful.

Thanks so much,

Marcy

Most evenings we have a Cruise Casual dress code, but there are those Cruise Elegant evenings one or two nights throughout the voyage. The length of the cruise determines the number of Cruise Elegant evenings in the Dining Room. The first Cruise Elegant evening is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd day of the cruise; the second Cruise Elegant evening is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd day prior to the end of the cruise, schedules permitting.

• 1-day cruise: none

• 2-day to 5-day cruise: one Cruise Elegant evening

6-day or longer cruise: two Cruise Elegant evenings

Be very careful and firm in the Spa as they do push products very hard-- If you do not say no (and than they ask why not) it can cost you hundreds extra--Be sure you get a receipt and keep it-- Not just on Carnival but all cruises we have been on work the same- Check your bill daily to be sure your were charged only for what you asked for and the exra tip is correct.==If you have an error you must return to the Spa to fix the amount etc.

daveotto,

You are so right. I had one of the girls in the spa to keep pushing the products on my first cruise back in 1993.

This was before cruise critics which I found before our 2003 cruise and several post about the spa suggestion's from board members that said to avoid the sells pitch is to write on the form that they have us fill out right on the very top "NOT INTERESTED IN ANY PRODUCTS".

I have done this on every cruise since 2003 and have never been ask to buy products since.

Thanks,

Marcy
